These are a few of my favorite things:

SNOWY SURPRISE

The thing about April weddings in Colorado is you really never know what you are going to get. It could be 65 and sunny, blowing rain, or, like Trey + Gina’s day, the snowiest day we had seen in a while. While Trey and Gina were hoping for weather a little more spring-y and a little less 30 degrees and blizzarding, they rolled with the punches and embraced what Colorado had to offer for the day. We opted to move their ceremony inside, right in front of a massive window displaying the mountains in the background. While it wasn’t Plan A, Trey and Gina were so excited to be married, they hardly noticed.

Here’s what the couple had to say:

We worked with Rose, through the Black Diamond Lodge. She went above and beyond anything we could have asked for to be sure our wedding and the days leading up went smoothly. She anticipated needs, rolled with the punches, handled last minute changes with grace and efficiency, and we left all the decorating to her, Josh, and Stella and it turned out INCREDIBLE! Our mothers both loved working with her as well–she made their lives so much easier. The PDC is also the most cost-effective crew in town (esp. working with the Black Diamond Lodge) and will help you handle all your other vendors. One of our (already married) friends mentioned that Rose is "the best wedding coordinator [he has] ever seen." The PDC team's helpful and cheerful spirit is contagious. From Josh having fresh coffee already made when I woke up at 6:30am, to Stella taking behind-the-scenes clips, to Rose's excellent planning and expertise, we loved having the PDC as our wedding coordinators. 10/10 would recommend.

WORSHIP/MUSIC SET

It was important to Trey + Gina that their ceremony centered around what was paramount to them, giving glory to God. They did this by ending their ceremony with a worship set, led by Trey himself. Guests were supplied with lyric booklets ahead of time, and got to give thanks to the Lord for the marriage they had just witnessed. While the main focus was worship songs, Trey, Gina, and Trey’s sister surprised us all with an incredibly impressive rendition of Cabinet Battle #1 from the musical Hamilton.

BLUEBERRY MINT LEMONADE

To commemorate a special beverage they had shared early on in their relationship, Trey and Gina had local coffee shop, 81301 Coffee, craft a custom blueberry mint lemonade for their guests to enjoy during cocktail hour. For those who opted for something a little warmer on a snowy day, guests could also grab a cup of local coffee also provided by 81301 Coffee.
