VIBES: Colorful, Elegant, Yellow
These are a few of my favorite things:
Yellow Dresses & Blue Skies
Jordan’s bridesmaids absolutely glowed in sunny yellow dresses—my favorite color palette of the entire season. Paired with soft blues and natural textures, the palette felt like a breath of fresh air: joyful, warm, and full of personality. Against the mountain backdrop of the Black Diamond Lodge, the colors popped in the most beautiful way. It was the kind of styling that felt both timeless and totally unique to the couple.
Here’s what the couple had to say:
I don't even know where to begin with praising Amber and her team. I am a wedding vendor myself, so I had worked with this team many, many times before hiring them for my own wedding. Every wedding I've worked with them has gone incredibly smoothly, and their energy is always top-notch, so I was excited to see what being one of their brides would feel like. Just as expected, they were so communicative, receptive, and kind about my ideas and me changing things around on them last minute, and made sure every detail was taken care of. I don't know how we could have pulled off our wedding without Amber and Molly, and they truly added such an amazing, positive energy and light to our day. Take it from me- you NEED a coordinator, even if you're doing a small, intimate wedding. I wasn't stressing about anything on the day because I knew they had everything taken care of. Every time I would have a question (where are the rings?) Amber would read my mind and appear with what I needed at the exact right moment. I can't thank these ladies enough, and cannot wait to work with them to make other couple’s days as perfect as mine was!! THANK YOU THANK YOU!

A Whole Weekend of Celebration
One of the biggest perks of hosting your wedding at the Black Diamond Lodge is that your celebration doesn’t have to be just one day—and Jordan and Tyler made the most of it. From welcome cocktails on the deck to late-night s’mores and morning-after coffee with their favorite people, the entire weekend felt like one long, joyful hangout with everyone they love. It was relaxed, unhurried, and full of meaningful moments—exactly what a wedding weekend should be.
When Life Gives You Lemons… Make Everything Sweet
Lemon was the unspoken theme of the day, woven into so many meaningful details. Each guest’s place card was a dried lemon slice from the bride’s grandmother’s tree—a personal and fragrant touch that made the table settings so memorable. And instead of one big cake, every table got its own homemade lemon bundt cake, lovingly baked by the groom’s family. Once dinner wrapped up, each table cut into their cake together—a shared moment that was just as fun as it was delicious. (And yes, we may have sampled more than one.)
A Wedding That Felt Like Coming Home
This wasn’t just a wedding—it was a family reunion in the best sense. Jordan is the sister of our very own PDC coordinator, Taylor, and Tyler had spent years working in the kitchen at the Black Diamond Lodge. To see them center stage, surrounded by the sweetest families and the people who’ve watched their love grow, was truly special. The energy all day was pure joy. The mother of the bride was everywhere—dancing with strangers, hugging guests, and radiating the kind of happiness that makes everyone feel like part of the family.
