These are a few of my favorite things:

CACTI INSTEAD OF CANDLES

A winter wedding, but give it desert vibes instead of snowflakes and evergreens. Instead of the usual blooms and candlelight, Bethany and Jeremy opted for something more their style–cacti. Not just one or two, but dozens and dozens. From the ceremony site, to the centerpieces, and even the bouquets, this couple included funky desert touches all the way through.

FAMILY DANCES

This wedding wasn’t just about joining Bethany and Jeremy in matrimony, it was also about ceremoniously blending their family together. Bethany’s two boys walked her down the aisle, and later joined the happy couple on the dance floor. In addition to the classic newlywed dance, Bethany, Jeremy, and the boys danced together as the new family. There was hardly a dry eye in the house (including mine!)

FOREVER FRIENDS

You could tell this couple is wildly loved by the people around them. Their friends showed up in every way: rolling up their sleeves, DIY-ing details, hanging epic neon signs, installing handmade arches, making custom shot skis, and keeping Bethany and Jeremy calm and laughing all day long. They were the kind of bridal party that felt like friends to me by the end of the night and it felt evident that their loyal friendship was a testament to who Bethany and Jeremy really are.
