Jill + Elliot @ Riverbend Ranch

WHAT: The adventure begins (okay, continues)

WHEN: September 20, 2025

WHERE: Riverbend Ranch

COORDINATORS: Taylor, Ayla, Ben, and Nate

VIBES: Earthy, Party, Personal

These are a few of my favorite things:

Here’s what the couple had to say:

“My partner Elliot and I worked with Taylor from Perfect Day Co for our wedding on September 20th, and I honestly can't imagine how the day would have been without her and her team! They are ON IT and so good at what they do, and our wedding day was incredible top to bottom as a result :)

We hired Taylor as our "day of coordinator", but she did so much more than just day-of. She helped us figure out a transportation issue a few weeks before the wedding, met with us in person two times and helped us make sure our day-of timeline was looking good by walking us through each minute of the day, made sure we had all of our ducks in a row well in advance, brought such a sense of calm to our day, and plenty more behind the scenes things I'm probably not even aware of, because she was handling it!

At the very end of the night, I was trying to help out by gathering some random things that needed to be cleaned up, and Amber from Perfect Day Co said "Hey what are you doing!! We've got this, go dance at the afterparty!" Enough said. Can't recommend these folks enough!! Thank you PDC for making our wedding day so easy and fun and stress free :)”

Handmade mug favors

Jill + Elliot were very intentional about adding personal touches to their wedding day. One of our favorites were the handmade mugs that Jill made for each and every one of her guests. Jill owns Nook Ceramics, a pottery studio local to Durango, Colorado. Considering they had a guest count of 150 people, this was no doubt a labor of love. She even made enough mugs for all of her vendors to take home and remember the special day. Guests commented on how much they loved the beautiful clay mugs all evening and will no doubt sip and reminisce about this day for years to come.

“I do” with dirty hands

Jill + Elliot are both adventurers at heart. In fact, each of their table numbers and names represented an adventure that was meaningful to them during their dating years or engagement. The couple chose to have a pine tree (in a pot that Jill also made herself!) present during their ceremony. Right before they exchanged rings, Jill + Elliot added some dirt to this pot, leaving them with (very fitting) dirty hands. They plan to plant this tree at their home someday!

Kale-laden bouquet

The florals were a simple and beautiful mix of pink, peach, white and greenery. To further channel their love for the outdoors and for gardening, Jill chose to add a few sprigs of kale from their garden to her bridal bouquet. A highlight of the day was watching Elliot casually chomp some of this kale straight out of her bouquet after the ceremony!
