These are a few of my favorite things:
Unapoligetically them
Some couples just make the entire day feel easy, and these two were exactly that. From the moment we arrived, the bride was unapologetically herself: quick with the sarcasm, always ready with a joke, and treating every vendor like an old friend instead of someone she had just met. It created such a fun atmosphere where everyone genuinely enjoyed working together. Our running joke of the day was when the bride and groom would look over at me and ask, "Do you need any help?" Of course, my whole job was making sure they didn't have to lift a finger, so I'd laugh, tell them I was good, and send them back to enjoying their wedding. By the end of the day, it had become our inside joke, and it perfectly summed up the kind of couple they were: thoughtful, hilarious, and genuinely appreciative of everyone around them.
Here’s what the couple had to say:
“Stella and Mason are the bomb dot com! They were fantastic! Our special day was relaxed and easy because of these two. Thank you and your team so much for everything!”
“We used The Perfect Day Co. for my sister’s wedding and it was an amazing experience. Stella was wonderful. She paid so much attention to detail and took the time to prepare everything so we were able to enjoy the day. Everything was perfect and we couldn’t be happier with how well everything worked out. Thank you so much for making my sister’s day perfect. Thank you to the whole team too of course. Everyone was great!”
A family affair
One of our favorite parts of the day was how intentionally they included their two little ones in every meaningful moment. Their seven-month-old, dressed in white, was carried down the aisle, while their son had several special roles of his own. He walked his mom down the aisle and even recorded a surprise voice message for his dad to listen to just before the ceremony. It was such a sweet reminder that this day wasn't just about two people getting married, it was about celebrating a family being built together.
They made it theirs
The wedding was exactly what THEY wanted. There wasn't a packed dance floor, a lineup of toasts, or a long list of traditional moments because that's simply not what they wanted. Instead, they shared one first dance, enjoyed an incredible dinner and desserts, and spent the evening talking and laughing with the people they love most. It felt relaxed, intentional, and completely right for them. We love reminding our couples that your wedding doesn't have to check every box on a "traditional wedding" checklist. The best weddings aren't cookie-cutter, they're the ones that reflect who you are!
