WHAT: The Entire Town of Silverton Gets Married

These are a few of my favorite things:

Costume Tent

The couple set up a costume tent for all their friends to enjoy during the reception. Guests could sneak away in the dark, beneath the soccer mom pop-up tent, to deck themselves out in glitter, feather boas, animal hats, wigs, big fuzzy jackets, and more! Once they'd found their perfect costumes, the guests hit the dance floor and all jammed to some live music together. It made for the most colorful, vibrant, and feather-covered dance floor.

"Going To The Chapel"

Sarah had a large bridal party, which meant that on wedding day, there were 18 girls getting hair + makeup done. The Eureka Library was filled with 5 hair + makeup artists, endless dresses, steamers, bud vases, popped champagne, giggling gals, and more. Before ceremony staging and getting Sarah into her dress, the bridesmaids all got into their green dresses and circled up with Sarah to sing "Going To The Chapel" together. They swayed, sang at the top of their lungs, and giggled and improvised lyrics through the parts they didn't know. They had a blast and it was the best way to get the bride even more excited to walk down the aisle.

Wheelbarrow Grand Exit

In Silverton, there is a tradition of wheeling the bride out of the wedding in an actual wheelbarrow. Sarah + Jackson not only upheld this tradition, but did it with some extra style. Their friend Christine decorated a wheelbarrow for them with streamers, colorful fabric, and bows. Their friends lined the gravel walkway, cheering and blowing bubbles. Jackson loaded Sarah up in the wheelbarrow, gave her a handheld tambourine to wave, and wheeled her to The Avon Hotel for the after party. It was the most magical grand exit!
