WHAT: The Day of 1,000 Cranes

WHEN: September 19th, 2026

WHERE: Purgatory

COORDINATORS: Libby, Jael, Neal

VIBES: Simple, Beautiful, Surprising!

These are a few of my favorite things:

1,000 cranes

In Japanese culture, having 1,000 paper cranes at a wedding symbolizes Longevity, peace, loyalty and a harmonious marriage. the bride and her father spent hundreds of hours making paper cranes that decorated the entire space! The guests then added their names to oregami paper and their cranes were added to the final number.

Here’s what the couple had to say:

“I had an amazing experience with Perfect Day Co. Our lead coordinator was Libby and she was fantastic! She was so organized, supportive and flexible. Her team on the day of made everything so smooth and made it so that I could relax and enjoy my wedding. I truly felt like Libby was looking out for me and had my back the entire time. The cost was reasonable and well worth it. I highly recommend!”

Puppy bridesmaids!

Chaco and Toshi stood next to them during the entire ceremony! They walked the rings down and behaved so well at the end of the aisle!

Reception Saxophone

Did you know that you could add saxophone to the electric slide? Me neither! They hired a saxophone player from Denver to play during the reception and it was so cool! As the DJ played music, he walked around and played sax to each song!
