These are a few of my favorite things:

Kid-Friendly

The bride was very intentional about catering her wedding to kids. She created opportunities to engage and share quality time with her friends' kids throughout the whole weekend. She held her friend's baby on her lap during her hair + makeup and enjoyed a sweet storytime moment (book reading) in the Spa with her flower girls. It felt like each time I saw her, she was holding a baby or making memories with her friend's kids. She provided kids coloring packets + bubbles during cocktail hour, setting up a whole table for kids to create on. She prioritized having games out during cocktail hour to keep them engaged.

Dirty Dancing Lift

The couple performed a Dirty Dancing lift during their dance party. It was their "signature thing," a shared dance move they'd practiced and performed many times in the past. They danced to the entire song, and at the end cleared a "runway" on the dance floor for Mackenzie to leap into Jack's arms. Confetti went off during their lift, and all of their friends cheered with fun sunglasses and light-up foam wands, making the moment feel cinematic.

Morning Activities

Instead of spending an entire day getting ready (hair + makeup), the couple prioritized spending time with their friends/family in the morning. Mackenzie surprised her dad with a flyfishing trip in the morning (which led to an eventful, flat-tire mishap) and hiked with friends, while Jack adventured with friends/family. The two really made the most of their day in the mountains before meeting in the meadow.
