Bright Summer days

Chartreuse might not be the first color that comes to mind when you’re planning for a wedding, but it is so fun to work with! It brings the bold, but doesn’t overpower the eye. Rochester’s secret garden definitely helps complement the bright green with pops of colorful flowers, large trees for shade, and an overall peaceful feel.

You don’t have to have a Cake

Some people don’t really like cake, and that is totally okay! We wanted to show another option for couples who don’t really love cake. We did a triple-layer cheesecake, but you can do whatever you want. We’ve seen mini homemade chocolate chili pepper cakes (grandma’s secret recipe), ice cream bars, pie buffets, and whole dessert tables full of donuts, fruit, and marshmallows.

Healthy Lunch Option

Want to know one of the BIGGEST things that gets forgotten on wedding days? LUNCH. Most people, especially the bride, forget to eat lunch and then end up being shaky, hangry, and more anxious. One of our biggest tips is to assign a bridesmaid or family member to make sure you eat. One of our favorite options is Nourish Durango. They make super healthy to-go options with all kinds of food sensitivities available. So you don’t need to go grab some fried food and milkshakes to make you feel all bloated and gross, swing by and you’ll be nourished (see what we did there) for your big day!
