A little rain never hurt nobody

It was just that perfect time of year where rain was inevitable. However, our bride and groom told us early on how much of a priority it was for them to be outside. With that in mind we were prepared to rearrange the timeline as needed. And that’s exactly what we did. The rain started and we waited, it would stop and we’d get one step closer to the ceremony. Eventually, there was a break in the clouds, and they made it down the aisle! It was their determination that made their ceremony amazing: that perfect overcast sky, the dewy look, and the sun at just the right moments.

EPIC photos

Getting married in Silverton means you are in no shortage of amazing backdrops. This day had mountain views, river backgrounds, and a great photo team to capture it all. The couple got two shots that our team will never forget. One of them laying down (Yes after the rain, yes on a hidden trashbag) on a bridge at the venue that goes over the river. The other being an overhead shot where the couple is in the forefront, and their guests are all behind at a lower part of the property celebrating them. The photo team used a drone to capture these shots and it really made for EPIC moments.

Groom outfit change

Over the past few years, a second outfit or reception dress change has become quite popular for the brides. However, this wedding had the groom showing out in a new style for dancing. The bridesmaids had mad him a custom jean jacket that had “Groom” bejeweled on the back as well as jeweled tassles hanging down the bottom. It was a showstopper piece that got the dancefloor moving and had jaws on the floor.
