These are a few of my favorite things:
Ring Security: A Four-Legged Surprise Down the Aisle:
Picture this: the groom and bridal party have made their way down the aisle and are lined up, ready for the ceremony to begin. Your officiant does one final check for the rings…only to have the best man shrug and say, “I don’t have them.” A nervous ripple moves through the guests. The officiant pauses, then calls out: “Ring security!”
Suddenly, all eyes turn to the back of the ceremony space. Trotting forward with purpose is the sweetest German Shepherd you’ve ever seen, proudly carrying the rings. The guests erupt into laughter and relief as the dog makes its way to the couple, tail wagging like it’s the happiest job in the world.
This moment was the perfect blend of heartwarming and hilarious. A unique way to include a beloved pet while delivering the most unforgettable ring entrance. It was a sweet nod to the couple’s love for their dog, a charming twist on the traditional ring bearer, and, yes, a brilliantly executed way to give the guests a little scare before kicking off the ceremony.
Here’s what the couple had to say:
“We worked with Perfect Day Co for my wedding and they were absolutely amazing!!!! They were so understanding and flexible with payments. Stella was my coordinator and she was was so knowledgeable, even if she didn't know the answer to something, she got back to me within a few days with an answer. I told her at the very beginning that I didn't want to have a single responsibility on my wedding day and she was absolutely amazing, her and her team got everything done and kept us on time! I recommend them to any and all the people”
Toasts: Personal, Emotional, and Perfectly “Them”
The toasts at this wedding were the kind that stay with you long after the night ends. Close friends and parents took the mic, and each speech felt deeply personal and beautifully intentional.
Her bridesmaids brought everyone back to childhood memories and inside jokes that had the room laughing. Her dad followed with heartfelt stories that brought genuine tears, painting the sweetest picture of life with his little girl. Then her stepmom, her biggest cheerleader, delivered an energetic, uplifting toast that reminded everyone just how loved this couple is.
Together, these speeches revealed who the bride and groom are individually, and who they’ve grown to be as a couple. It was a highlight of the reception, authentic, emotional, and full of warmth.
Center Dance Floor: A Layout That Brought Everyone Together:
This venue is spacious and versatile, offering many table arrangement possibilities. For this wedding, the couple chose a layout with all the dining tables around an open, central dance floor. This intentional design created a sense of unity and made the reception feel intimate, no matter where guests were seated. It ensured everyone had a clear, unobstructed view of the first dances, toasts, and all the major moments, turning the center of the room into a shared focal point. Beyond practicality, the layout encouraged energy and connection. As soon as the music started, guests naturally flowed into the middle, filling the dance floor and keeping the celebration lively all night long.
