WINTER SPARKLE

To say that the 2024/2025 winter season was lacking in snow accumulation would be a drastic understatement, and one of the top priorities for Delaney was that her and Chad’s perfect day was a winter wonderland wedding…well, the Snow Gods must have heard their prayers, because the weekend of their arrival, it dumped…to the point that all of her sweet guests from Texas could not get up their rental property driveways!! The fresh, thick blanket of snow created such a magical sparkle off Delaney’s gem-encrusted boots and beautiful crystal and pearl jewelry, and the crisp, white backdrop complemented the bride’s and bridesmaids’ beautiful faux fur shawls. Simply stunning!

A GRAND ENTRANCE FOR ALL

Delaney + Chad wanted to get their guests involved for their grand entrance into their reception, so inspired by a TikTok Delaney had seen, they brought Phat Heads of both the bride and groom, fun signage, and glowsticks that were laid at each guest’s seat. With a little instruction from the bridal party as they entered to Bring Em Out by T.I., the entire wedding was fully committed to their part by the time Delaney + Chad entered to The Flight by Dimitri Vegas + Like Mike. It was a very fun start to dinner!

POLARIS TRACK RIDE INTO THE SUNSET

Due to the monster snowstorm, the guests needed a proper way to get around the property and to and from the Lodge to the ceremony site, so they ended up renting a Polaris track, and it created such a fun experience for the couple and their guests. It not only helped to even out the ceremony site to avoid wobbly chairs, but it also made for a fun exit vehicle and photo op to ride off into the shadows, and then make a U-turn and come right back to keep the party going, because we all know that’s what we do at the Black Diamond Lodge!
