These are a few of my favorite things:

GRAND CHARCUTERIE

Nothing is better than an amazing appetizer to complement cocktail hour after a special ceremony, and Global Kitchen out of Mancos, CO did not disappoint. Jake made sure to include every special request Dillon + Shalyn had to satisfy their guests’ taste buds, and the charcuterie board Jake’s team put together was a piece of art! The way it was laid out also created a nice, cozy space for guests to gather around to chat and nosh on delectable little bits of various flavors and textures, just adding to such a sweet, intimate weekend.

PICTURES OF LOVE

From the very start of their wedding planning, it was VERY obvious that Dillon and Shalyn love their people, and they wanted their guests to feel that love throughout the day. One very special surprise happened during the ceremony, when the couple asked The Perfect Day Co. to set out a picture of each couple attending their wedding, so that when the guests returned to the Lodge for cocktail hour, they would see how very treasured they are by Dillon and Shalyn. It was their way of saying thank you to the couples who have come before them and those who will come after them for being such an integral part of their relationship. Talk about a tearjerker!

CRAYONS + GLOWSTICKS

There were so many cute kiddos at Dillon + Shalyn’s wedding, and one way that they showed love to the sweet littles in their lives was by making sure they had some fun entertainment at the dinner table. There were coloring pages specific to Dillon + Shalyn’s wedding day as well as glowsticks to make crowns, bracelets, and necklaces. This also served as a great way to allow their parents to enjoy dinner uninterrupted…at least for a little while.
