These are a few of my favorite things:

POURED WITH LOVE - As part of Gabrielle and Michael’s wedding weekend, they held a traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony the night before the wedding. It was a very meaningful event, symbolizing the official joining of the couple’s two families. It began with the groom’s family arriving in a procession bearing gifts wrapped in red cloth, a symbol of good fortune. Dressed in traditional garb, the bride and groom served tea to their parents and elders as a sign of deep respect and gratitude, and in return, the couple received heartfelt advice, well-wishes, and meaningful gifts. The ceremony not only honored those of Vietnamese heritage but also marked the beginning of the couple’s new life together, surrounded by family, love, and cultural tradition.

THE EDGE OF WINTER - The couple’s wedding ceremony was very unique in the sense that the meadow was caught between seasons. Amber leaves still clung to stubborn branches, and the mountain peaks had just a faint dusting of bright white snow. Guests were cozy in scarves and jackets as they witnessed Gabrielle and Michael exchanging vows beneath a soft gray sky. It was a beautiful moment wrapped in the fading glow of fall and the peaceful promise of winter.

EDIBLE ARTWORK - Eat Me Cakery made a beautiful three-tier cake, composed of pristine white frosting, textured to resemble the mountains and pine trees that surround the property at The Black Diamond Lodge. The perfectly round pinecones and sprigs of evergreen matched the cozy vibes throughout the lodge all weekend, and to top it all off, the cake was just as beautiful on the inside and tasted divine!
