TAKE A PICTURE OF MY CAT AND MY WEDDING

It was such a dream to work with Lindsey Boluyt for Rainee + Mark’s wedding! I mean, her photos are stunning and speak for themselves, but a couple of fun facts came to light throughout this beautiful weekend as well. The first being that Rainee chose The Rochester (we are so honored!) after seeing one of Lindsey’s styled shoots that took place at this romantic boutique hotel. The next being that Lindsey first took pictures of Rainee and her cat, which is how they originally met. Having a previous connection, especially one that involves cute, cuddly floofs, made capturing these gorgeous photos fun, comfortable, and seamless.

MOUNTAIN TOP VOWS

Rainee + Mark chose to head to the top of the peaks for a private ceremony, just him, her, and their photographer. Fortunately, we live in an area that has many different mountain tops to choose from, and the couple ended up going with Molas Pass. It was serene, simple, and perfect. Rainee’s elegant silk dress and long, chiffon veil added just the right touch of romance to their rugged and striking mountain landscape.

TAKE A HIKE

Rainee + Mark chose the coolest coffee table book about landscapes across the United States as their guest book. The idea was for each guest to locate their favorite place in the book, whether it was where they were from, a place they loved to visit, or a destination on their bucket list, and provide the couple with advice or well-wishes. Such a fun way to enjoy your guest book over time, flipping through the pages on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
