These are a few of my favorite things:

Brews + Bluegrass hour

Instead of a typical cocktail hour, Hallie + Jackson opted to have a brews and bluegrass hour, featuring a bluegrass band made up of Hallie’s family members. Hallie and Jackson are both incredibly musically gifted, so a whole hour of bluegrass music really captured the joy and passion of this couple.

father/daughTer song

The musical talent in Hallie and Jackson’s family and friends runs deep. Rather than a traditional father/daughter dance, Hallie and her dad chose to sing a song together. It was a highlight of the day, showing their bond in a way that felt natural and real—no spotlight needed, just a shared love of music and a memory they’ll both carry for years.

ice cream bar

We love it when couples don’t feel obligated to have cake at their wedding when cake isn’t their favorite dessert. Hallie and Jackson served the yummiest local ice cream from Cream Bean Berry, and it was a real crowd pleaser. From the youngest party guests to the grandparents, everyone was giddy to have a scoop of ice cream on the dance floor!

late-night snack

I will always be team late-night snack! After a night of dancing, guest appetites are usually really high. Hallie and Jackson opted to serve French fries for their late-night dancers. Around 9:30 pm, baskets of fries were set out for guests to grab, and after a yummy snack, they were ready to party the rest of the night away.
