SUMMER CAMP WEDDING

In the best way possible, Emelie and Jake’s wedding weekend felt more like a laid-back summer camp than a traditional celebration. Guests stayed in cabins or camped under the stars, easing into a weekend that was more about time together than a packed schedule. Mornings started slow with coffee and conversation, guests filing out of their cabins for shared breakfast on CampV’s “Main Street.” Afternoons filled with board games, hiking, paddleboarding, mountain biking, and yoga, ending each evening with a communal dinner. By the time the end of the weekend rolled around, everyone left with new friendships, fueled by a weekend at Camp Emelie + Jake.

BRIDAL COLD PLUNGE

Nothing says cool bride like a pre wedding morning cold plunge. Complete with heart sunglasses and a white swimsuit, Emelie was joined by her besties as they took a dunk in CampV’s property pond. After they were fully awake, Emelie and her crew headed back to their cabin to begin getting ready for the day.

LATE NIGHT WATER TOWER PARTY

Emelie and Jake hosted their after party in the most unique and epic location I’ve ever experienced–an old water tank on Camp V’s property, fitted with a built in deck, open roof to the stars, and electricity to power the party.
As any good after party needs, Emelie and Jake added uplighting, a custom playlist, plenty of disco balls, and a surprise neon sign from the mother of the bride. I’m not sure anyone can top this one!

SURPRISE SONG

Here’s the scene: after several hours of live music from the incredible Feeding Giants, the dance party under the stars is winding down. Emelie has snuck off to change into her sparkly silver after party dress, accessorized with body glitter and custom temporary tattoos of the couple and their pups. Mid costume change Emelie says “Oh I love this song!” and then moments later “Wait, this is Jake singing!” As she runs back to rejoin the dancing, she sees her new husband on stage with the band, singing and playing the guitar to one of their favorite songs. Everyone was shocked and incredibly impressed at this memorable last song!
