These are a few of my favorite things:
Lord of the Rings Elements
The couple brought in so many unique elements and references to The Lord of the Rings. Lizzie walked down the aisle to "Concerning Hobbits". There were flower and ring "hobbits" (instead of boys and girls) that wore custom-made capes. The entry to the Reception Arena was decorated with a Shire banner. The tables had moss, lanterns, and natural-themed colors.
Here’s what the couple had to say:
“We simply couldn't have done it without Amber, Victoria, and crew! They were amazing to work with and so detail-oriented. Our wedding was truly a perfect day :)”
Unique guest Shuttle
Since the wedding was hosted at a horse arena, guests were shuttled to the Ceremony Site on a gigantic tractor. Made of wood and metal, it looked (and rode) like a western Disneyland ride. Guests enjoyed a short, open air drive that allowed them to overlook the pastures, mountains, and Ceremony site.
Heritage Traditions
While the wedding was unique, it was also full of lots of family tradition. Joe's family hails from Scottish roots, so him and all the groomsmen wore kilts and traditional wear. The Father of the Bride performed a three strings ritual, followed by a quick shot toast with the couple. The Mother of the Bride sang a Bible verse/hymn with Lord of the Rings music in the background. The officiant gave a long and heartfelt speech talking about the covenant of marriage and union of two people.
