These are a few of my favorite things:

A Grazing Menu for Guests to Enjoy

Instead of following the traditional cocktail hour followed by a formal dinner, the couple embraced a relaxed grazing-style reception that encouraged guests to celebrate at their own pace. As soon as the ceremony concluded, an abundant charcuterie display was available alongside the full dinner menu, featuring tender beef, flavorful chicken, roasted potatoes, fresh asparagus, and crisp salad. Guests were free to grab a light bite, build a full plate, or return for seconds whenever they pleased, creating a natural flow of conversation and connection throughout the evening. The flexible dining experience kept the energy high, eliminated long waits between courses, and allowed everyone to enjoy the celebration exactly as they wanted.Thank you to Amy's team at Et Voila for helping create this seamless dinner.

Where Romance Met the Rain

It was a very rainy day in Silverton and the guests handled it with such grace. As the ceremony began with a rain settled over the mountains, it created a scene that felt more cinematic than stormy. Guests embraced the weather beneath elegant white wedding umbrellas, transforming the raindrops into a beautiful part of the celebration rather than an interruption. Behind the couple, a cool blanket of clouds draped itself over the mountain peaks, creating a breathtaking backdrop that no sunny day could have matched. The soft mist, fresh mountain air, and quiet sound of rain made every vow feel even more intimate, proving that sometimes the most unforgettable wedding days are the ones that don't go according to the forecast.

For the Ones Who Raised Me

After slipping into her wedding dress, the bride took a quiet moment to honor the two people who had loved her long before this day ever arrived. Her mom buttoned Aubrey's dress in their elegant second story apartment and then opened a small keepsake plate featuring a childhood photo of the two of them—a simple but meaningful reminder of the years they shared together and the memories that shaped them both. Her dad received a framed childhood photo alongside the lyrics to "My Wish", the song they would soon dance to for their father-daughter dance. There was a blank spot in the frame for a photo of the two of them dancing at the wedding. It was a gift that celebrated not only the little girl he had raised, but the woman she had become. In the middle of a day filled with celebration, these thoughtful gifts created one of the most heartfelt moments of the morning, reminding everyone that weddings aren't just about beginning a new chapter, they're also about honoring the love that made the journey possible.
