These are a few of my favorite things:
BRIDE TRIBE
The bridal party was a total of eight gals and eight guys which is always so fun! But the girls were a special bunch. They truly treated the bride like a queen on her day and celebrated HER. They were tending to her every need, making sure she had all of her things on her when moving from place to place, took fun pics of her all morning, cried with her in the sweet moments, and cheered for her (literally) every moment they could. You only have one wedding day, and it is truly so special to feel that loved and lifted up by your people.
DIRT BIKE DOWN THE AISLE
Okay they didn’t go all the way dow the aisle but it was still insanely epic! We found out the night before, that the groom and groomsmen planned to ride their dirt bikes up the hill to the ceremony site, hop off, and walk down the aisle as a surprise entrance. While the logistics seemed a bit bumpy, we were totally down to help make this moment happen. So as the ceremony starts, the officiant, grandparents, and parents walk down to a lovely song. Then you hear the engines revving, the song changes to an epic rock song, and here comes the groom, up the hill with his groomsmen in tow, oh and in the rain I might add (SO. COOL.) The guests went wild! Everyone was hooping and hollering and standing up and clapping and the boys ate up every second of their moment. It was so cool.
PAULUS DAIRY
What is Paulus Dairy you may ask? It’s TJ’s grandparents dairy business (or old one actually). What stood out to us about it, was how much it was honored throughout their wedding. There were vintage creamer cups from their business on the welcome bags. The memorial table had many vintage Paulus Dairy momento’s, including a baby bottle, an order form, and more, and the tables were scattered with bud vases of florals that were Paulus Dairy glasses. It was so sentimental for the groom and his family and such an intentional way to include a part of their family histories in the day.
