These are a few of my favorite things:

Winter is still Gorg!

Winter weddings here do not need to compete with summer to hold their own, they just show up differently and in a way that feels a little more striking. The trees may be bare and the air carries a chill, but that shift opens everything up. The views stretch further, the light hits cleaner, and the mountain peaks come through bright and sharp, covered in snow that does all the work for you. It feels quiet, crisp, and intentional, the kind of setting that does not need layering to feel complete.

The color of the seasons

Leaning into that season with color makes it even better. Deep burgundy, chartreuse greens, tones that feel pulled straight from the holidays without going over the top. It brings warmth into the space, adds contrast against the snow, and keeps everything grounded. Nothing too polished, nothing too themed, just rich color that plays well with the surroundings and holds its own as the day moves into night.

All the texture

Then it comes down to texture and detail. Candles everywhere, not just for light but for that steady glow that fills a room as it gets dark early. Soft fabrics, ribbons, bows that add movement and a little bit of shape without feeling overdone. It is those layers that make the whole thing feel full, warm, and lived in, balancing out the cold outside and pulling everyone in a little closer.
