Willow + Nico’s day was full of special touches that made it all about quality time with their family and friends. One of our favorites…the favors - wood cookies with the couple’s name and wedding date that could serve as ornaments. It’s a favor that guests can enjoy for years to come! They even had a cute tree to display the wedding favors on.

“The team at The Perfect Day Co/Durango Event Planners is the absolute best. Everyone we worked with was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and just the best people all around. Taylor went above and beyond to give us the most perfect day. She was there to answer all of the millions of questions we had (even the silly ones!) throughout the process of planning and to help us figure out what we wanted our day to look like. She was a sweet and calming presence throughout our whole wedding day and was flexible as needed to create a fun, memorable, and special day that we will cherish forever. Light rain showers

Who says that rain has to put a damper on your wedding day?! Willow + Nico’s day was made even more beautiful by rainclouds in the distance as they said “I do.” Guests walked up to the breathtaking meadow at The Black Diamond Lodge with white wedding umbrellas…cute and quaint. Light rain started falling just after the kiss to seal the deal.

dessert that brought joy

A popular trend these days that we are alllll here for - skipping the cake if you don’t like cake! Dessert should be something you as the couple actually look forward to eating because it’s YOUR day. Willow + Nico made the dessert portion of the day theirs by choosing to serve pints of their favorite ice cream flavors from Salt & Straw, an ice cream shop that was special to the two of them. It was DELICIOUS, fun and uniquely them.
