Megan + Zach @ Purgatory Ski Resort

WHEN: September 20, 2025

WHERE: Purgatory Ski Resort

COORDINATORS: Stella, Shannon, Josh, and Detcho

VIBES: Fun, intentional, party

These are a few of my favorite things:

Here’s what the couple had to say:

We just got married in September 2025 and had the best experience with The Perfect Day Co! Not only was our day truly perfect — nothing went wrong — but they made all of my wildly detailed dreams come to life. From the beautiful displays to the dessert stand, from the seamless timing (down to the minute!) to the magical exit, they outdid themselves in every possible way.

A special thank-you to Stella, our coordinator, for her incredible support throughout the entire process. She thought of every question I didn’t even know to ask and made planning from out of town feel completely effortless. As a destination bride, I was nervous about losing control, but Stella and her team were with me every step of the way. They know all the best local vendors, and their relationships made everything feel so smooth and personal.

I genuinely cannot recommend The Perfect Day Co. enough. It was everything I imagined and more — truly perfect. No notes.

The ArBOR

The arbor for the couple was a super intentional piece of the day. The groom owns a wood shop and took on the task of building and arbor for his wedding day. It was a beautiful piece for the backdrop of their ceremony. They had both of their dads set it all up the morning of and then they repurposed it as the photobooth backdrop during their reception hour. It was really cool to see how the arbor the groom made was a special aspect of the entire day.

Grand Entrance

The grand entrance for this wedding was one for the books. The bridal party was a group of sixteen people, half of which had been friends since middle school. They were the life of the party. Never ceasing to have fun, throw a joke around, and hype up the bride and groom. For the grand entrance, the boys were wearing bright blue sparkly cowboy hats and the girls passed out fake money as they danced in to Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy. It was such a fun moment that the guests loved. What a fun way to switch up the grand entrance!

Veil

The attire of the day was gorgeous. The girls were in pretty floral pastel dresses and the guys in tan suits. The groom wore a darker suit and the brides dress? It was perfect for her. Her accessories were beautiful jewelry, a classic neck scarf, and her moms wedding veil. This “something” borrowed fit perfectly into her attire and was such a sweet way to honor her mother on her wedding day. We repurposed it again by using it draped behind their sweetheart table for the reception.
