A Truly Special Location

Tucked away in the mountains of Durango, Electra Lake is a hidden gem—private, peaceful, and breathtakingly beautiful. For Hank and Paige, it was more than just a scenic backdrop; it was the heart of their story. Hank’s connection to Electra Lake runs deep. His family has cherished a cabin for three generations, and it’s the place where he took his very first steps. Year after year, he returned with his family, creating memories that shaped his childhood. When he brought Paige to the lake for the first time, she was instantly captivated by its magic. It didn’t take long for them to realize that this was the place where they wanted to begin their next chapter. Just as Hank had taken his first steps at the cabin years ago, he and Paige took their first steps into marriage, surrounded by history, family, and the beauty of Electra Lake.

A Moment Just for Them

One of the most beautiful parts of Paige and Hank’s wedding day was how intentional they were about carving out time just for the two of them. In the midst of all the excitement, they made space to slow down and soak in the moment together.

One of my favorites? Their private vow exchange, tucked away in a golden aspen grove, was glowing with peak fall color. With a bottle of champagne in hand, they stood under the fluttering yellow leaves, sharing heartfelt words meant only for each other. It was quiet, meaningful, and breathtaking.

Another favorite moment? An evening boat ride across Electra Lake, just after they said “I do.” Paige and Hank stepped onto a beautiful vintage wooden boat and glided across the still water, soaking in the sweeping views and the quiet magic of the mountains. As they floated beneath the glowing Colorado sky, Engineer Mountain stood tall in the background, perfectly framing a scene that felt straight out of a dream. To top it all off, Hank donned a captain’s hat embroidered with their wedding date as they returned to shore—a playful, personal touch to an already meaningful moment. It was one of those memories that perfectly captured the joy and beauty of their day.

Dancing the Night Away

After a breathtaking and intentional ceremony in the mountains, Paige and Hank made their way—with family and friends in tow—to the iconic Historic Strater Hotel in downtown Durango. What followed was an unforgettable celebration filled with joy, laughter, and nonstop dancing. The reception was an absolute hit! DJ Cameron from Elite Entertainment kept the energy high with a perfectly curated playlist that had the dance floor packed all night long.
