Jordan + Tyler @ The Black Diamond Lodge
Jordan’s bridesmaids absolutely glowed in sunny yellow dresses—my favorite color palette of the entire season. Paired with soft blues and natural textures, the palette felt like a breath of fresh air: joyful, warm, and full of personality. Against the mountain backdrop of the Black Diamond Lodge, the colors popped in the most beautiful way. It was the kind of styling that felt both timeless and totally unique to the couple.
Amanda + Nick @ Top Of The Pines
Top of the Pines is the kind of place that makes you pull over just to stare. Perched above Ridgway with postcard-worthy views of the San Juans, it’s giving Telluride energy without the Telluride price tag. On September 8th, Amanda and her crew turned this epic slice of Colorado into a full-on mountain-top bash. Imagine dancing under string lights with peaks in the distance and a breeze that smells like pine and freedom. Yeah… unreal.
Dana + Greg @ the black Diamond lodge
Dana + Greg opted for a morning ceremony and it really set the vibe for the whole day. Guests showed up in ski attire ready to hit the slopes right after, the pressure was off for the rest of the day, and everyone enjoyed a cup of coffee from Vow to keep them warm during their outdoor, winter ceremony.
Kailey + Nick @ The Black Diamond Lodge
Rather than make their cake cutting a big event, Kailey and Nick chose to privately cut their cake with just their parents and grandparents. They snuck away mid dance party to share a quick moment with their closest loved ones. While everyone else was tearing up the dance floor downstairs, Kailey and Nick were cutting into the cutest heart-shaped cake in the quiet upstairs and slowing down to enjoy conversation with some of the people who mattered most.
Hallie + Jackson @ Echo Basin Resort
Instead of a typical cocktail hour, Hallie + Jackson opted to have a brews and bluegrass hour, featuring a bluegrass band made up of Hallie’s family members. Hallie and Jackson are both incredibly musically gifted, so a whole hour of bluegrass music really captured the joy and passion of this couple.
Jen + Will @ Purgatory Resort
Jen + Will’s big day featured a bud vase escort wall, where guests searched for their name that was tied to a beautifully filled bud vase of flowers, and took it to their seat to double as table decor. Not only did the guests love getting to see which bud vase was theirs, each guest got to take their bud vase and flowers home at the end of the night. Nothing makes us sadder than wasted wedding florals, so it was amazing to see them all go home to be enjoyed!
Sawyer + Alexis @ The Powerhouse Science Center
Sawyer and Alexis wandered the streets of historic downtown Durango for their portraits, and the result was pure magic. Think brick-lined sidewalks, vintage storefronts, and that unmistakable small-town charm that makes this place so special. Every photo felt like a love letter to the town where their story is unfolding.
C + R @ Purgatory Ski Resort
September 22nd brought a little rain and a lot of romance to the Paradise Ceremony Site at Purgatory. The clouds rolled in, the mist settled over the mountains, and somehow, it all felt just right. Rain on your wedding day? Turns out, it’s pure magic when you’re surrounded by aspen trees and people who love you.
Tori + Chris @ Purgatory Ski Resort
Tori and Chris’s love story started on the slopes, so it only made sense to celebrate their next chapter with a mountain view wedding at the very resort where it all began. On September 22nd, friends and family gathered at the Boise Ceremony Site to witness a love story that’s been carving fresh tracks for years.
Heidi + Josh @ The Black Diamond Lodge
July 13th gave us that perfect kind of summer day—warm air, blue skies, and an aspen meadow that looked like something out of a dream. Nestled in the heart of the mountains, The Black Diamond Lodge was the perfect setting for a celebration that felt personal, peaceful, and full of heart.
Easton + Kylie @ Riverbend Ranch
This wedding was extra special because it was planned by the groom’s sister, and you could feel the love in every last detail. She thought of everything, from big-picture flow to the smallest touches, and we were so honored to step in and coordinate the day she worked so hard to create. It was personal, joyful, and full of heart.
Rain Plan
We have all heard the old saying, “It is good luck if it rains on your wedding day”, but have you heard why? Because a wet knot is harder to untie. How cute?!
We know that might not be the first thing that pops into your head if it is actually raining on your wedding day. It’ll probably be something like worrying about your hair, makeup, flowers, guests, ceremony, and the whole 9 yards.
Rehearsal Dinner
Kick off your weekend of celebrating with a super fun rehearsal dinner. Whatever your vibe, budget, or guest count, there are always ways to jazz up the evening before your big day and make it super fun as well. We have helped coordinate so many welcome/rehearsal dinners, so we decided to compile a list of our favorites so you can get years of experience and ideas in a five-minute read. Ready, set, GO!
Dessert
It’s your wedding day, do what you want! If you’re anything like me, that means eating a lot of sweets! You can splurge on a three-tiered cake, call up your favorite ice cream cart, get your grandma’s secret recipe, or do espresso martinis. If you’re somewhere in between (or already know exactly what you want) we’ve got some tips and tricks for you to think about to make sure your wedding day is as sweet as possible! See what we did there ;)
Rentals
Don’t want to buy a million bud-vases you’ll never use again? How about gauze table runners that are going to sit in your garage till your kids’ weddings? Not interested? We get it, and that’s why we offer rentals to our amazing couples so they can save time and money and skip being wasteful.
Ellie + Kollin @ Kendall Mountain
Ellie, her father, and her mother busted out some epic moves during their family's first dance. Kollin, his mom, and his brother all got together and sang a fun song. We love that they took these traditions and put a little spin on them to make them their own.
Rachel + Sergio @ The Wyman
The Wyman Hotel is already full of stories, but on August 10th, it gained a few more. Nestled in the heart of Silverton, this historic mountain gem set the stage for a celebration that felt like stepping into a timeless love story. From antique details to sweeping mountain views, every corner of the venue whispered romance. It’s hard not to swoon when history and high-altitude elegance collide.
